FIRE
The Bureau of Emergency Services has made significant advances in Fire Training. We employ three very capable and qualified State Fire Instructors and have recently certified four County Fire Instructors. The County Fire Instructors present the same courses as the State Fire Instructors resulting in the same certification. The only difference is that the County pays the tab when we use County Fire Instructors. We anticipate the addition of one more SFI and one more CFI. -MORE

EMT
The Bureau of Emergency Services provides strong support for the county’s EMS provider agencies.  The Bureau is a New York State Department of Health approved EMS Course Sponsor.  We offer a wide variety of training programs including: Certified First Responder,Emergency Medical Technician,Advanced Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate, CPR, Heartsaver AED, EMS Continuing Education Programs -MORE
